In 2019-2020, VisionOne was privileged to be part of the pioneering team behind Egypt's first Nano Loan Application, Kashat. This revolutionary app aimed to provide instant loans of varying amounts (EGP 250, 500, 1000) through a simple, four-step process

  • Collaborative Leadership: Collaborated closely with Kashat's founder and a dedicated project manager to bring the project to fruition.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Developed and managed a comprehensive data ecosystem that included data from various sources, such as the App Database, Google Big Query, and offline Gsheets from Customer Care and Marketing teams.

  • Data Stories for Decision-Making:

    • Customer Journey Screen: Designed an intuitive dashboard that offered a visual representation of the entire customer journey, including app downloads, signups, loan applications, approvals, repayments, and defaults. This facilitated tracking of conversion rates, customer acquisition, retention, and churn.

    • Working Capital Management: Created a tool to monitor the movement of working capital, tracking investments made through customer-disbursed loans and predicting incoming funds based on payment schedules. This enabled effective management of promotional discounts.

    • Credit Scoring Screen: Constructed a Tableau-based dashboard that provided insights into customer quiz attempts for the data science team. This aided in fine-tuning credit scoring models by analyzing applicant responses.

  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conducted ongoing ad-hoc analyses to address various business needs, including strategy development, marketing, repayment tracking, campaign optimization, investor relations, and reporting.

  • Data Tools and Automation: Utilized a suite of data tools and techniques, including Tableau for automated analysis, MySQL, and Google Big Query for data storage, Talend Open Studio for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and SQL queries, Excel, and pivot tables for ad-hoc analysis.

  • Multi-Dimensional KPIs: Plotted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across various dimensions such as Age, Gender, Area, Language, Smartphone Types, Wallet Size, and Credit Scoring. These dimensions proved invaluable for crafting future marketing campaigns and optimizing user experiences.
